Recently elected Bean Station aldermen, Jeff Atkins and Patsy Harrell, were sworn into office, Jan. 2. Harrell is the first elected female alderman to serve in the Town of Bean Station. After nine months of discussion, Grainger County commissioners voted to include Miller Road on the county road list.
