The Rutledge Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve an ordinance establishing planning committee membership for the town during its meeting Thursday, January 11. The ordinance calls for a five-member committee, with one member being the mayor or their designee, one member a city alderman selected by the BMA, and three citizen members, selected by the mayor. The terms of citizen members will be for three years with one member's term expiring June 30 of each year.
