Lieutenant Stephen Kitts was awarded as Bean Station Police Department's Officer of the Year, Monday, January 22, during the Bean Station Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting. Kitts was nominated for the designation by BSPD Chief Chad Seal, who said Kitts has made a big impact this year.
