Qualifying ends in municipal elections

Bean Station and Blaine will each have a new mayor after the Nov. 6 city elections, but Rutledge Mayor Fred "Speck" Sykes has no challenger for a second term in Rutledge. Three candidates have qualified for the chance to succeed Bean Station Mayor Terry Wolfe, who is not seeking a third term.
